I started my own DIY version of this 3 weeks ago with the IKEA Chairs! The results are amazing, but time consuming!!!! Start wrapping near the seat and work outwards so you can hide any of the seams. I also did a very pedestrian looking garment rack (container store, $25) that I had out in the open to hang my daughter's dress up close on.
