Carleton Varney for HSN

Recently I got an email from HSN with a coupon for 15% off. I clicked on, thinking I might look to see if the Nate Berkus line had anything new for me. Before I could get to the Nate stuff I was reminded that Carlton Varney has a line for HSN. His look is very…

Recently I got an email from HSN with a coupon for 15% off. I clicked on, thinking I might look to see if the Nate Berkus line had anything new for me. Before I could get to the Nate stuff I was reminded that Carlton Varney has a line for HSN.

His look is very preppy, very southern. I love his style in small doses for common room or in full force for a little girls bedroom.

These sheets are great!

And how about this adorable ottoman? So cute for the bathroom, the end of a hallway or a little nook.

This vanity stool is a tie for my favorite piece in the line. Comes in all different colors.

But this bedding is what excited me most. It features my favorite Carlton V print – Tobacco leaf.

Okay, now. I know this image is not exactly current. But put on your ugly blinders for a sec and imagine this bedspread as a duvet. Ditch the unfortunate throw pillows and the stripey pieces and replace the euros and skirt with a crisp inky blue/navy trimmed out in white. Awesome, I think!

  1. HSN is surprisingly cooler (sometimes) than most people think. I swear, though, we had those exact yellow rose sheets growing up :)

    Hope you're getting settled in!

  2. Although I love a lot of this stuff, I did have a vision of my awesome giant rose bedding I had growing up, it is so funny how all this stuff is coming back!

  3. Wow, HSN has really turned around. Perhaps I was unfairly judging it in years past. I love all the Nate Berkus things, as well as the tobacco leaf-printed sheets you shared.

  4. "I only wish it was a duvet and not a comforter." … This made me laugh because I'm the exact opposite! I prefer quilts and comforters over duvets because I can't for the life of me (with three little boys) ever keep a duvet cover looking "put together" and decent. Ha!

  5. Jenny I love your style…..BUT I personally think that bedding is absolutely hideous!

  6. seems like one could open up the comforter andremove the batting and then do something with the opening and manage a duvet out of all that

  7. Oh man, all I could think of with that cabbage rose print bedding was that it looks just like the big poofy floral dresses from the 80s/90s. Ugh, I just cant get past that thought:)
