My friend Emily tipped me off to this beautifully simple tree skirt from Garnet Hill. Isn’t it pretty? I think it would be easy to recreate with some high-quality wool felt and a little time.
The buttons are my favorite. They remind me of my wedding dress.
If you love it like I do and don’t have the time to DIY, I would buy soon. The skirt was featured in Real Simple so every time Garnet Hill offers it, they sell out incredibly fast.
Wow that is beautiful! We need a tree skirt, but unfortunately I am not sure I can justify spending that much. So we'll see what I come up with instead!

that picture makes me want to gear up for christmas and decorate, but i live in the desert and it doesn't even fee like the holidays! my first year with no snow.

It's so pretty. I don't think it would be seen very often under our tree. It would be covered up fairly quickly with gifts.
That is gorgeous and though it does look time consuming, it would be worth the effort to have something that you could take out every holiday season for years to come
