I’ve always loved this image. That framed needlework haunts my dreams! One of my clients just found a beautiful antique piece of embroidery on a midnight blue background and we’re considering framing it for her apartment. And truthfully, I’m jealous she found the piece first! I’d love something like it for my own dining room walls…
Have a wonderful weekend! xxxx
my mother has some smaller ones. she either bought them years ago or made them herself.
im already thinking of ways to give them new life WHEN (if ever) I move to a place of my own! :)
"Envy eats nothing but it's own heart" (A german proverb) which my Grandmother taught me.
No doubt – your heart will lead you to the perfect embroideries for your walls.

how beautiful. every time I read your blog I can't help but overuse the words beautiful, stunning, amazing and incredible. Great inspiration!
I, too, love that image….don't recognize the work…but would love to know! Just beautiful!
beautiful! happy weekend!
hello! i'm so glad i found this blog! you are super creative and i love all your ideas, work, and suggestions! definitely need to come back and visit again soon.
I'm also loving the frames on those pieces- look to be kind of a faux bamboo- gorg!
What a YUMMY room….
These are beautiful. But, you know, you could make something similar. I have a friend who is always buying fabric to embellish. She adds tiny seed beads and embroidery to patterned fabric. The finished product is really pretty and depending on the pattern, quite frameable!
absolutely gorgeous!
Lovely design! Handmade pieces make the best artwork!
How much I loooove them!

I'm pretty sure those framed pieces are Schumacher fabric. I have a couple pillows out of the same fabric.
SWOON!
