2. Speaking of fabrics, I love this horizontal striped black and white slubby linen available from Calico Corners. For a subtler approach to my curtains. Price is $36.99/yd.

3. Also, this upholstery grade gray and creamy white ikat is phenomenal. I don’t know who makes it. There’s a random roll at one of my fabric haunts. Let me know if you want me to pick you up some. Price is $22/yard.

5. Paloma’s kitchen round up was awesome. I think I gasped when I saw this one for the first time. Ohmygoodness. That island.

6. My latest household product obsession: Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets in Baby Blossom scent. The smell is sooooo good that I actually like doing laundry now… most days.

7. Next, I think this stool at Home Goods would be genius reupholstered in black or charcoal linen. The legs are my favorite part.

8. In fact, they sort of remind me of these awesome pepper mills from IKEA.

9. And finally, a little family update: Life is good, my friends. As much as I love all of you, nothing makes me happier than being a mom to these lovely little lassies.

Grace is my partner in decorating crime and she also loves preschool. Claire turned three on the 16th and cries every day when I drop off Grace at school.

Evie turned three months old yesterday. And you better believe she weighs 17 pounds.

She totally would have polished off Claire’s birthday cake if she wasn’t stuck in the Bumbo.

That’s all. peace out.

  1. I cannot decide what I like the most about you – your fabric attraction or those little lassies. Looks like it is all sugar and spice in your world. Thanks for the baby blossom dryer sheets, I know my 17 year old sons will appreciate that one.
    tee hee.

  2. Such a nice post of your thoughts today. The picture of your kids looks like it's from a catalog. The colors in your china pieces are beautiful. Thanks for the fabrics, I am eagerly waiting for the arrival, it's going to be like Christmas in March, no pressue j/k.

  3. Since I'm a new follower, I had no idea you had such a new baby – wow! I'm so impressed by how much you do with three kids including a three month old. Who is totally adorable – as are her big sisters! Darling! My second is due in three weeks and I can't wait!

Love all your finds, especially those Ikea pepper mills! They're hot!

  4. Don't know about the china, but it is really pretty – did you buy the teacup? As for the little stool, I love the blue and green thats on it now, LOL… I'm weird like that – but I would definitely have to paint the legs… and your girls are just precious!!

  5. Oops! Sorry. I deleted my comment(above) by accident. Your daughters are just adorable! Claire and my son have the same birthday. He cries every time I drop HIM off at school.

I like the china and the gray ikat fabric!

  6. Hooray! Thanks for putting up that picture of the girls! I cannot get enough. Grace and Claire are so grown up and little Evie is adorable. Mollie is on her way to being a chunker just like her friend. Love it! And also, I want to see you guys. But how? And when? I must figure this out soon.

  7. How do you find the time?! My three year old is learning quite a bit about treasure hunting, but the baby– aged just 1– is not happy with it. Life looks lovely.

  8. The ikat fabric is gorgeous! I have actually had my eye out for some ikat fabric for a chair I'm reupholstering. Your find looks exactly like this fabric that Pottery Barn sells for $50/yd (which I just cannot afford). Did the store have it any other colors? I would love it in the yellow Pottery Barn has, or even a rusty orange. Thanks so much.

  9. Hi! I rarely leave comments and I never say *laugh out loud* but your little Evie is so cute and that last photo definitely made me laugh out loud!!! also, do you know about replacements.com?? you can find out a little about your china and also see if there are any other pieces available.
ps – I love your blog and check it obsessively – I am working on a big girl room for my two girlies and your girls' room is my perfect inspiration! Thanks so much!

  10. I want that ikat fabric! I have been looking all over freaking Nashville trying to find some cool gray print for my bedroom curtains.

I need to figure out how much I need though. Don't go anywhere! :)

  11. Great post! On the Ikat fabric – I think it could be beautiful for my living room – but do you have any thoughts on perhaps incorporating some of the expensive "love it" fabric with some other cheapie white fabric for large drapery needs? Maybe adding it to the bottom 1/3 of a white IKEA panel and tying it in with some trim somehow??

  12. Those baby apple cheeks!!! I think I just died from the cute! Your girls are gorgeous. I swear you can tell from that photo how much they love each other, so sweet!

  13. Just wanted to tell you that you've been such an inspiration to me to finally get my projects going, not to mention finally buying myself a real sewing machine! Your girls are adorable; LOVE fat babies, mine were too. Obviously everything you do is beautiful ;)

  14. Thanks for the shout-out, love! Glad you enjoyed the kitchens post.

That little stool is great. You always find the best things!

Your daughters are precious! And that little Evie… I just want to squeeze her little cheeks! xoxo

  15. Oh my goodness, my grandmother has wingback chairs covered in that first fabric in her formal living room – no joke!

Also your girls are adorable. I have a 3 yr old and 4 month old – neither of them is chubby enough in my opinion. My first weighed 17 lbs at one year. I would die to have baby with rolls!

  16. Your girls are TOO cute!! I love the picture of Grace and Claire loving on Evie. And Evie with the cake. Too funny. She's a chunk of love!

Lovedddd the kitchen round up! I think I gasped on every one!

    Love the gray/cream ikat.

LOVE that Homegoods stool (with new fabric)! I'm going to have to see if my Nashville Homegoods has one!

  17. perfection on the porch. love that sweet shot and that chubby baby. love that kitchen island too. must file that away. you're awesome, jenny!

  18. Loved the kitchens, but had to laugh at your comment about Evie being stuck in the Bumbo…my son was a month or two little older before he chubbed up, but we used to giggle because his adorable chubby thighs usually had to be pried from the bumbo! Love it!

  19. I love your blog and I just about died with that adorable picture of your girls! I'm not sure if anyone else answered this question but I work at Calico Corners and we carry that cream Ikat – it looks like the same fabric. So maybe check out our website for it??

  20. so is it wrong to sing "you're the one for me fattie."? to your baby? Mikah eats like a little piggie and I want to sing that to her. In the most endearing way of course.

  21. Love this whole post. I was so impressed with how deftly you chronicle your ramblings, how out and about you are, and how much you get done! Like your parent's master. You know you were my initial blog inspiration! And THEN to learn you have three babies! (mine are 5,10,12–so yours seem like babies still). I have to tell you, your girls will grow up loving design. My 10-year old girl loved the post with all the Home Goods, TJMaxx and Home Depot bags stuffed in the trunk (all our haunts). She's my master stager-on-a-budget. Enjoy those adorable girls!

  22. lovely post. thanks so much for the treat of meeting your little ones. beautiful. and I do think I will hit my local Homegoods to search for that bench…thanks again!

  23. Jenny, I didn't know if you know this BUT… if you do use the store locator on the Calico Corners website, once you find your location there is a little link above the location for a $20 coupon! AWESOMENESS!!!!

  24. LGN,

Love your style and blog, but it's those sweet sweet little ladies of yours that are inspiring me to post my first comment :)

Your husband and ladies are so lucky and any day you need to take time w/ them instead of LGN I'll totally understand!

    Thanks for the daily inspiration!
