Happy Friday! Let’s celebrate the weekend with a fun give away from Paperwink.

Don’t you just love getting and sending letters? One lucky commenter will win a personalized address stamp from Paperwink that will make it even more exciting to drop that thank you note in the mail!

The stamps have an old-fashioned wooden handle, and many are stylized with vintage elements and a modern flair. Most are $18 each.

I think these are a great extension of your home style and make nice housewarming and hostess gifts for special friends.

Don’t forget to check out the Paperwink site for other personalized stationery items, like notebooks, notecards, mailing labels, and calling cards, and invitations.

Not surprisingly, this monogram stamp would be my pick!

For a chance to win an address stamp of your choice, please leave a comment here with a creative way you plan to use your stamp.

Comments will be closed Monday, January 25 at midnight.

  1. I love to write letters, but this would get tons of use at Christmas time when we send out cards. No cards this year — the kids kept giving each other black eyes (not the best show of Xmas spirit). So maybe we'll send out valentines this year instead.

  2. I send out a lot of mailings for my fine art business, thank you cards, promotional items…you name it. And since I have terrible handwriting one of these stamps would be perfect for me!

  3. Though not so creative, I would use my stamp to help me stick to my New Year's resolution, which is to email
    less and hand-write notes more.

  4. Vintage typewriter, slant, burlap, oh my – love the all. I love to keep in touch the old fashion way, by snail mail and one of these stamps would be perfect!

  5. I'm not sure how I would use it…..probably for a change of address stamp since I am moving. I am a sucker for Thank You notes, so I would probably opt for something for my daughter for her notes.

  6. hmmm…. not creative, but i'd use mine for thank you notes! my birthday is friday, and i'm sure i'll have a few thank you notes to write this time next week!! isn't there really nothing better than getting real mail? i love to send cards and letters and love to get them!

  7. I would get mine personalized for my parents…they bought their house three years ago, but never got around to getting any labels or change of address announcements. It would be a fun little anniversary present for them. I'll buy my own when I have a more permanent living situation.

  8. I love these stamps! I will use mine to stamp the inside cover of all the books I love to share with friends. Perhaps then, a few will find their way back to my shelves!

  9. I would use the stamps for old-fashioned calling cards! Or cute cards to include in a present, especially for a wedding/baby shower. Makes the obligatory "thanks" note easy for the receiver of the gift- since the address is enclosed!

  10. oh, darling, what WOULDN'T I use it for???? I would want to write letter after letter and I would never want to move for fear I wouldn't use my stamp again!

  11. 670…goodness! One of us will be happy! I would love to have such a lovely stamp for our address. We currently use one from on office supply that self-inks…this would be so much more charming!

  12. We are closing on our first house this week! I'd love to have a stamp with our new address on it.

  13. One of these stamps would have been perfect for the HUNDREDS of Christmas cards, baby announcements and thank you cards I recently sent out. If I have to handwrite another return address I think I'll just scream!

  14. So creative and just the touch that a little bit of everything needs. Reading through some other comments gave me some great ideas of where I could use one…my idea wasn't super creative :) We just had a baby and I could use them to stamp on the envelopes that will contain our payments for the little rascal. :)

Thanks for offering this. I love your blog and your ideas!

  15. A friend of mine just introduced me to your blog, and I love it– it is definitely getting added to the Google Reader queue ;)

I suppose I don't have an especially creative way I would use the stamp– I just write lots of letters to friends, and I'd use it for return addresses or decorating stationery.

  16. Omigosh! This is just what I have been wanting. I have a resolution to write more thank you notes this year. And I have kept thinking I need a fun address label or stamp!

BTW….I am a labor and delivery nurse and I LOVED LOVED LOVED your Christmas miracle!! Such an experience!!!

  17. I'd send the stamp as a housewarming gift for some newlywed friends. I'd first use the stamp to create some personalized stationery for them (so they stay in touch with me!). As a sweet hint of what's inside the package mailed to them, I'd use the stamp for the mailing label.

  18. Love love love these stamps!! I just got engaged and I'm designing and making my own wedding invitations. I would use the stamp as our return address labels on our wedding invites. They would be perfect for our vintage-inspired wedding!

Thank you for hosting a giveaway!!

    Melissa

  19. I would use them for my save the dates! I'm counting the days till I receive my US-visa (I am from Holland) to be reunited with my fiance again (he is American and lives in New York), to set a date for our NY-wedding, and to send out the save the dates… These stamps would be perfect for those!

  20. My cousin just got engaged (just ONE week ago) and I would like to make a monogram stamp with her new initials as a way to show her how excited I am for her wedding. We used to live together, but she moved out to live with her hubby-to-be.

  21. I love the vintage typewriter stamp! But I am moving in a few months and don't have a new address yet so if I win could I wait until I get my new address? If not I think it would make a great gift.

  22. Oh my goodness! I love these stamps. I would say I'd use them to make gift tags to put on gifts and luggage tags, too. I don't have any bloggy business cards, so I could use on for that, too.

    Thanks for doing a giveaway!

  23. 32 weeks preggy with twins and already writing loads of thank you notes. would love this stamp for inspiration to get them written!
    a loyal reader,
    Kate

  24. I would use them to shave off a few seconds of time for writing the many thank you notes that I have to write following my recent wedding! Also, since I have a new name (and a new roommate!), it's time for a new return-address identity! What better way than with a chic stamp?! Pick me!

  25. i would stamp the heck out of all my daughters things… blankies, jackets, mittens, etc. maybe, they would find a way back to our home.

  26. I love these stamps! I have been searching for a stamp for awhile to order of my parents address, and want to use them to stamp the save-the-dates for my upcoming wedding! I would love to be able to use a cute stamp like this to personalize the envelope (and save my hand from hand-writing so many return addresses!) and then give it to my parents to keep!
