Remember these Louis-style kids chairs from Home Goods? I had originally planned on reupholstering the fabric, but I decided to just paint the frames.
A couple coats of glossy peacock blue paint later…
What do you think? I have them tucked in the corner of our living room. My girls have snacks there sometimes, but mostly use the table for art projects.
Wow, how cute are those! Love the peacock blue!
Love them!
What a really unusual colour choice – but it really works. Love it when that happens!

Oh I remember when you bought these…Homegoods I think! They look great, Jenny-perfect in blue!
Very cute! I have been hooked on green lately but with all your lovely blue….I may have to find a way to incorporate some peacock into my decor:)
I love the peacock blue! It's a color that oozes happiness.
If I ever see those in my own home goods, I'm grabbing them. They are too adorable.
Very chic chairs to foster the character of chic little children!
What a great look! I would have been looking for ways around recovering those, too! The paint really looks amazing!
Don't you just love it when a project comes together? Great job!

perfecto! I'm still patiently awaiting a post about your entire living room. You know, pics and all!?
Cute and classy! I love it.
I love the color, do you mind sharing the name of it?
I LOVE the blue frames. I am really curious…how do you paint the frames without getting it on the fabric? Do you have to dissamble the chair to ensure you don't touch the fabric? I'm really wanting to DIY some furniture but have no clue how you would do that.
Oh, and FYI, I took a cue from you and did my own little DIY this weekend :-)
