Like we talked about last week, one of the easiest ways to make a cheap lamp shade look special is to add some simple ribbon trim.
I bought a $13 square lamp shade at Target (only available in stores, not on the website).
With this shade from a Miles Redd decorated space as my inspiration, I added some 1/4″ black grosgrain trim to each edge with a little Fabritac and a steady hand.
I like the way the shade looks on my 10 Euro alabaster lamp we bought in Brussels.
great work. it adds a little something extra special.
ooh! Is this a little sneak peek of your office? I’m anxious to see how it turned out!!
Love your blog!

OOOh, I love it! Fabritac I can find…the steady hand is what I have lacking…
Great idea! It definitely adds some style. :)
