Probably my favorite place to buy fabric in Bean Town, the Fabric Place, is closing it’s doors for good this fall. {Very} sad for them, but it’s {short term} good news for us.

I scored some incredible designer fabrics (two F. Schumacher linens and a great Paul Kaufmann floral) that normally retail for more than $100 a yard for less than $6 a yard. I have some great upholstery projects to share with you guys soon, so all this cheap fabric came at a good time!

The nice people at the store in Woburn said they would probably be there through the middle of November. Hurry though, because all the good stuff is going FAST!!

  1. I am soooo JEALOUS! Oh how I wish I was in Boston right now. I have so many projects that could use some inexpensive designer fabric.

  2. Feel free to pick some up for me Jennica. I’ll pay you back. I don’t know what I would use if for but there’s always something right? I’m working on getting out there to see you guys soon. Hopefully it works out.

  3. So sad to hear of another fabric store closing. That is a sign of the times, I guess.

My favorite fabric store is still going strong, thank goodness. it is called iluvfabrix.com.
